The Team
-
“My teacher is smart but can’t teach,” can be true for tutors too. Quality is super important especially if you invest your time, trust and money into someone to help you. CHEMDUNN offers a highly selective group of tutors - we work with only 2% of tutors that apply.
-
“Affordable” really means free in this economy but unfortunately we aren’t really free. Quality chemistry tutoring can start around $130/hr. We provide different levels and types of resources throughout CHEMDUNN hoping you can find something within your budget even if that means free.
-
Our tutors are available for you throughout the learning process. That includes getting a last minute session before that surprise quiz your teacher casually mentioned today.

Let’s Get Started
Consultation
Reach out to hello@chemdunn.com or ‘Request more info’ if you are interested in a consultation. After exchanging some brief background information to better understand the support needed, book an introductory session.
Introductory Session
The first session serves as a level setting conversation where each person can understand how to best work together and each other's goals — all while diving into some content that has been giving recent trouble. Info discussed in the initial session will set the stage for successful future sessions.
Tutoring & Adjustment
As time progresses, there is constant reflection to ensure the progress is being made and goals are met. This might include adjusting the flow of the sessions, the amount of time or frequency of sessions — even in the short-term to build momentum and good habits.
Growth
Learning will take time and patience but you will achieve new successes and new confidence when approaching your chemistry studies.

Time management and organization are key to success. Here are some strategies to help you improve both. Firstly, create a schedule or study plan that allocates specific time for Chemistry-related tasks, such as reviewing lecture notes, practicing problems, and completing assignments. Break down larger tasks into smaller, manageable chunks to make progress steadily. Additionally, use tools like calendars or task management apps to set reminders and deadlines. Keep your study materials organized, create a system for note-taking, and use color-coding or labels to easily locate and review relevant information.

We can work together to identify the specific areas or topics that are causing you the most stress. Once identified, we will break them down into smaller, more manageable tasks and tackle them one at a time. We will make sure we have a plan so you are supported along the way, perhaps meeting with your teacher, forming a study group or scheduling more sessions. Equally important is practice self-care by maintaining a healthy balance between studying and relaxation, getting enough rest, and engaging in activities that reduce stress. Remember, with patience, perseverance, and the willingness to seek help, you can overcome any challenges or anxieties you may face.
